The Stage Awaits! Youth of all experience levels can register for HOTT Hands-On Theater Training, and everyone will have a part to play.
Youth HOTT Hands On Theater Training invites you to participate in our next Junior production, “Shrek The Musical Jr.” – March 15 – July 7, 2025
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in “Shrek The Musical Jr.,” based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, “Shrek The Musical Jr.” is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

HOTT Productions, NFP- Helping Others Through Theatre excitedly announces auditions for their upcoming production of JERSEY BOYS. Develop various theatrical skills including acting, singing, dance, costume and scenic design, while putting an overall emphasis on teamwork, acceptance, and inclusion. Seeking strong singers, actors, singer-dancers, and dancer-singers 13 years of age and up.
With phenomenal music, memorable characters, and great storytelling, JERSEY BOYS follows the fascinating evolution of four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop-music history. Winner of Best Musical at both the Tony Awards® and Olivier Awards®, JERSEY BOYS takes you behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom with electrifying performances of chart-topping hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Dawn,” and “My Eyes Adored You,” which brought The Four Seasons the highest honor: induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

FROZEN JR.
HEParks Disney’s Frozen Jr. performance was held on Friday, February 28th at 7PM, with H.O.T.T. (Helping Others Through Theater) Productions, NFP.
THE NUTCRACKER BALLET
The Nutcracker Ballet was performed on November 21 & 22, 2024 at the Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg. The Nutcracker featuring 40 talented dancers—and was an unforgettable show for the whole family!
OLIVER!
The timeless musical “Oliver!,” based on Charles Dickens’ beloved novel Oliver Twist was performed September 27 & September 28 at the Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg. This production featured a talented cast of over 45 performers from the Hoffman Estates Park District, accompanied by a live 20-piece orchestra.
Willy Wonka Jr!
Youth HOTT (Hands On Theatre Training) and HEParks performers presented Ronald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka Jr.” Students kindergarten through 12th grade worked together to develop various theatrical skills including acting, singing, dance, costume and scenic design, while putting an overall emphasis on teamwork, acceptance, and inclusion. Performances were sold out in the Spring at the Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg. The group also performed live at the Summer Suunds on the Village Green in the outdoor bandshell.
